Avoid hard, hot and spicy food. Take only liquid and soft diet in food. Apply ice pack ( take 4 to 5 ice wrapped in cloth or handkerchief) externally on the area of tooth pain for 4 to 6 times in a day.  And apply it for 10 to 15 minutes.
