Elevated Liver Enzymes (ALT/AST)

My recent Liver Function Test shows: ALT (SGPT): 169 U/L AST (SGOT): 83 U/L GGT: 44 U/L Bilirubin and ALP are within normal limits. I have been experiencing recurrent low-grade fever (around 99°F) almost every month for the past few months. I had taken abortion medicines earlier this year. Could you please help me understand: What is the most likely cause of these elevated liver enzymes? Could my recurrent fever be related to these liver test abnormalities, or should it be investigated separately?

This could be due to multiple causes. Since your GGT is also raised i would advise you to get a usg done first to rule out any gall stone or cbd stone disease
Next Steps
Consult a hepatologist or gastroenterologist
