Echogenic intracardiac focus

We're having our first baby, and during our L2 scan we found that baby is having echogenic intracardiac focus in the left ventricle. My wife Dual marker test were all at low risk. Please let us know if we need to be worried about this ? Doctor has recommendations us to get the fetal echo done. And with all the blogs I read it says there could be a slightest chance of baby born with Down syndrome. Please help.

You needn't be worried about this. This is a very common finding and 99% of the babies are born normal and remain normal. You only have to tell the Paediatrician at the time of delivery that this finding was there.
