Respectful Sir/Madam, Does eating of Guava increases blood sugar levels? Can a diabetic patient eat Guava or not! Had gone through an article which quote diabetic patients should avoid Guava and is that true? The glycemic index of the said fruit is low and still on such article been seen today. Pls kindly intimate the conclusions. Thanking you in anticipation,

Guava is a safe fruit for the diabetics. In any case no one eats guava every day. Once in a while there is no harm.

See.. Keeping evrythn simple... Unripe or less ripe fruits all have low glycemic index(low sugar content).. So tat can tat taken by a Diabetic.. Coz r main aim in diabetes is not to eat sumthng which ll instantly shoot r glucose.. And yes guava has lower glycemic index So if only 1 article tels it.. Don't worry much...
