Eating frequency for diabetic patients

Hi my mom sugar level is in range 200 to 250 she takes sugar control pills prescribed by doctor I just want to know how many times she can eat in a day... Means have 2 heavy meals or 3-4 small meals every day... What should be the gap between meals Thanks in advance

Hi That is right she can have 3 to 4 small meal n 2 major meals. Keep few things in mind that her food she have lot to vitamins , food should be selected well and quality and quantity of the food should be maintained.

Hi Yes she can have 3-4 meals per day as prescribed by doctor with keeping in mind the quantity of food that she has to take I,e limited portion size of the meal is beneficial and with ideal meal gap of one and half hours to 2 hrs inbetween every meal is fine...basing on the quantity of food she takes... If she consumes 3-4 meals every day then the quantity of food intake should be less... Thanks

Hello She can have 3 major meals + 2 snacks . Basically eating every 2 hours is a great help. But things depends upon so many things. How's her BS pp matters alot . She needs a personalized guided plan. According to her body needs .
