Hello doctors .. my daughter is 8 months old , she Is pulling her one ear since 2-3 days and is having cold . Can i put 'otek ac ear drops' ?

Yes put Otek ac ear drops 2 drops in ear every 6th hourly for 3 days

This happens in acute URI Can be a case of serious otitis media too This happens due to mucus plugging and blocking of eustachian tube. If there is no fever and no yellowish coloured discharge, child's activity is good; nothing to worry.
Next Steps
1.Keep the child hydrated 2. Avoid using any instruments to clean ear at home 3. Can try paracetamol SYP to reduce pain 4. use nasal saline drops to liquify secretions
Health Tips
Consult an ENT specialist if there is : 1.yellowish discharge associated with fever 2. child is refusing feeds or there is decreased activity
