I had chronic migraine for 4 months as preceeding condition and believe to have develop medication induced anxiety and depression from the migraine medication as i never had this condition before migraine. Medicines used were tryotomer( gave me suicidal thoughts so stopped) betacap, topamac, flunarizine (2months) and pbren(2mnths). Now i am prescribed nexito5 (2wks) and clonazepam 0.25(1week).
1.How long will it take for this medication induced mood disorder to cure?
2.Also since nexito also has suicidal tendency as side effect how long is it safe to use?
3. I feel normal and stable only when i take clonazepam.25 in the morning along with nexito5. Does nexito5 singly cure GAD and Panic disorder symptoms? How long does it take for it?

A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every case.In addition, a detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every case to come for a diagnosis and management of the case accordingly.
Prevalence of Depression in migraine is high.That not be because of the medications.
You may need slightly higher dose of Antidepressants than what you are getting.
Clonazepam is given for some time and it’s tapered off after some time.
All depressive patients may not have suicidal ideas as you are getting. Another medications are also included in the treatment plan if such symptoms exists.
Antidepressants effects may take take 7-10 days with medications and higher doses needed accordingly to its effects.
