Duphalac syrup  daily in pregnancy

Hi Doctor, I am 8 weeks pregnant I have constipation Doctor suggested to take duphalac syrup 15ml daily in the night. I am using from 2 weeks Is it safe to use daily  in pregnancy ? Please advise Thanks

Constipation during pregnancy is very common Drink plenty of water Have fibre rich diet Stop iron supplements (if any) Duphalac can be used in pregnancy but only for a short course
