Due date passed
My wife's due date for delivery was on 16th Oct now it is 17th, is it fine there.
what should I have to do now"???

Hi, if due date is crossed, meet your gynaecologist. Do doppler study if it is not within 15 days. See your baby movement. If everything fine and your dr is ok with all, you can wait for some days.Otherwise induction is not a bad option.

Expected date of delivery is calculated by earliest ultrasound if periods are not regular. in Regular periods usually it correlates with ultrasound date. Surpassing dates in indian babies is not good . There are small risk of increased incidences of Cesarean due to passage of meconium (stool) inside uterus. So just confirm dates with ur gynaec and proceed accordingly.Keep watch on baby movements.

Hi. ..once the due date crosses one needs to be very vigilant. If everything is fine ie baby movements, and other ultrasound findings you can still wait for few days for labour to start. Otherwise one should deliver the baby. It's best to liaise with your Gynaecologist
