Ductal carcinoma

My mother has been daigonosed with ductal carcinoma 15 years back ,2.5 *1.5 cm tumor removed through  lumpectomy at TMC Mumbai  , done chemotherapy and radiation, taken texmociphen for 5 years, my question is she is considered cured or any chances recurrence at future .

She can be considered  as cured....  But she  needs life long follow  up.  Yearly local clinical  examination  and opposite side  breast mammogram  is recommended.

She would be considered cured, but needs to be vigilant with follow up as a patient is at a higher risk for developing a new breast cancer on the opposite side

She ll be considered from that cancer. However she need to undergo yearly mammogram of opposite breast .
