Drop of bleach splashed in eye

A drop of bleach splashed in the eye when cleaning the bathroom. Have washed and rinsed with water but there is some pain and burning in the eye now (after 8 hours). I don't live in India and can't get to a doctor for another 12 hrs. Should I just continue to rinse? Can I use artificial tears eye drops instead? Thank you!

Hi ! Usually we do eyewash. Yes, start using artificial tear drops four times a day. If you have pain and redness start using NSAID eyedrops like nepablu or flurbiprofen three times a day

I suppose by now you must have washed your eyes many times. That should be enough. Put artificial tears eye drops frequently (1 hourly) Your eye should be ok with this treatment only. Don't rub your eyes. Consult if your problem persists.
