CT scans use Xrays for diagnostic purpose. Hence one CT scan uses multiple x Ray's for diagnostic purpose. So CT scan exposure can cause cancer. Usually few CT scans done in life time should not cause but there is always a theoretical risk. No one can tell exact no of CT scan
