In which position and which finger to test oxygen level in oximeter.. because in right hand index finger shows 98 then in right hand middle finger shows 95. Which position and in which finger to take correct level.

In an any relaxed  position( sitting or lying ) Should check in middle finger of any hand. Pls place the oximeter for few seconds without shaking the hand too much, in order to record approximate level.

minor differences in spo2 level will not be an issue.

Lying down comfortably in bed. Relaxly take normal breath. Index or middle finger use spo2 probe. Wait for 30 second till reading stabilise. No nail paint over nails
