Dog bite no wound( stray dog)

A friendly stray dog wanted to play and accidentally bit me slightly and there was no open wound. I let it go for 6 days ,after 6 days I went to nearest clinic where I got TT shot and ZOONOVAC V INJECTION and doctor has told me to take 3 more doses total 4 Now my question is why didn't my doctor give me immunoglobulin and what can I do ,because I took injection after 6 days Dog seems to be healthy, I have been visiting it almost every day

Nowadays immunoglobulin is not needed Please take Rabipur vaccine All 6 doses

You went to the doctor after 6 days. No virus is going to wait for six days to start its journey towards your brain. Immunoglobulin is given within a few hours. Otherwise it is useless. You have to observe the dog for 10 days.  Even if it is your pet dog you have to take three doses of the Anti rabies vaccine.
