Does hypertension affect baby?

I am 12 weeks pregnant recently diagnosed with hypertension and tachycardia.i was prescribed inderal 10 and ecosprin and nucarnit f.i wanted to ask if my health condition will affect the baby in any way possible?both physically and mentally.
