Septoplasty is a very simple surgery and one of the first surgeries taught during training of an Otorhinolaryngologist. However there are a host of complications if done by a careless or inexperienced surgeon. I do a more complex Surgery called Endoscopic Nasal Surgery. This is a highly customised procedure using precision tools like Videosinusscopes, LASERs, Coblation Wands and Microdebriders based of the exact requirement as diagnosed by a detailed CT scan of the patient's Ears, Nose and Throat. Internally all 3 organs are interconnected so scans must include all 3 regions for your doctor to understand the entire pathophysiology. This results is great functional and aesthetic outcomes.
