I am getting sudden dizziness attack during my position changes... generally while lying on bed or while getting up. It lasts for 1 sec or less.. but is very scary. Getting this approx 3 to 4 times a day, for the last 2 days now. Some referred to it as BPPV, if symptoms are of BPPV, is it curable, or can resolve by some exercise.
In normal term it is Vertigo....you need to take tab. Vertin 16 mg 3 times a day initially may be for 3-5 days then reduce the dose to 8 mg 3 times a day for 1 week ,do not rotate or change the posture in a haste ,do it slow,;Contact the ENT doctor if not relieved.
Yes BPPV can be managed through particle repositioning exercises and you just need to meet a good ENT Specialist in your city to teach you how to do it. Medications should be NON-SEDATIVE to enable your inner ears to adapt and recover.
