I resumed wearing glasses after quite sometime and the power is pretty high compare to the time I last wore. And m getting headache and dizziness. What could be the reason for this??

You should again consult ophthmologist whether you are using glass is having correct number or not.

Increase in power and that too after discontinuing....this may be the reason.sometimes it takes time for adjustment.
