Fours days before my mom got severe back pain & she not able to sit & stand. Then we gone to Ortho & ask MRI scan. In report that there is L4 - L5 disc herination & doctor suggested to go for immediate surgery. We are now panic & completely worried. Please suggest me is there any other option which cure without surgery.

Is there pain going down the legs? She needs to be clinically examined and correlated with mri. If not getting better with medications, then only we consider for surgery
