From what you've said it sounds like you're overthinking and dwelling on your past, and you're also anxious about your future. In order to manage these concerns, you need to explore what is causing this stress/depression in your past with the help of a professional. Therapy is the best option for you at the moment to explore your past and also to explore what's causing anxiety about the future.
Meanwhile you can try the following:
1. Journaling - Write down your thoughts in a journal, this helps to identify what exactly is affecting you from your past, and reflect on your thoughts to be aware of it. It also helps to vent your thoughts/emotions/feelings and make you relaxed for a bit.
2. Talk to someone - Talk to a loved one - friends/family whom you trust about your issues. It helps to vent your thoughts/emotions out and also gain an objectifying view for your concerns - from a third person's perspective.
3. Mindfulness - Being focused on the present moment helps to divert yourself from thinking about past or from being anxious about future. You can practise mindfulness by small techniques like 5-4-3-2-1 technique - name five things that you can see around you, four things that you can hear, three things that you can touch/feel, two things that you can smell and one thing that you can taste.
