This is a very common problem seen in the children of this age group and parents tend to get worried and start medications unnecessarily leading to addiction of such medications, I suggest you to stop such use of medication. Instead change his diet, use fibre rich diet like chapati, vegetables fruits, avoid maida products and refined food stuffs. Give plenty of fluids.
