Difference in Double marker & NIPS.

2025-02-07 14:23:36
This is for my wife(27 years ). It is related to her first pregnancy . As per the double marker test results (12th week) , T18 was at increased risk and our doctor suggested for NIPS (conducted in 13-14 week) in which all the parameters came with low risk. No history for any such syndrome in both the families. We have anamoly scan lined up on 18th February. Do we need to undergo Amniocentesis?
