Diarrhea due to probiotic capsules

Does probiotics cause temporary diaherriah? I started VSL3 on Sunday night. On Monday, i had normal consistency bowel movement, then loose bowel movement and again normal bowel movement. I took the capsule on Monday night again, i am experiencing the same bowel movement pattern today as well.

I need more details about history. Many medicines have GI adverse effects like nausea, vomiting, gastric upset, bloating, loose stool etc. If you have loose stools, then u should be hydrated properly with avoidance of spicy and fatty meals.
