DIAGNOSIS OF DIABETES TYPE

Am a diabetic patient since last 4 yr,recently i did my c-pepetide(r) test it was 2.92 ng/ml after few days i did insulin (fasting)test also it was 1.8 uu/ml . Why its happpens c peptide is normal range but insulin production is very low. Which type of diabetes I have??

C peptide is accurate test. Don't rely on insulin levels. Your c peptide is normal that means you have t2dm That can be part of metabolic syndrome. Youdo have to tell your weight height etc. family history of diabetes may also be there
