Hii, i want to ask that can i marry a girl with diabetes type 1. I am dating a girl with type 1 diabetes in beginning i didnt know much about it and i thought its ok .. she just need insulin shots to live a normal life like any other girl.. but when i started to know much about it i read that over time it will create so many problems even with insulin... and i an a very emotional person neither i want to backoff nor i can see a person suffer after marriage... but this thing is beyond my control.. i need a suggestion that is it possible to live a normal married life without big complication

People with any type of diabetes can lead a normal life, only that one has to be aware of it and continue regular follow ups with the diabetologist and adhere to its management as guided.

Type 1 DM patient can live a normal life with better consciousness and adherence to insulin. Be aware of the treatment and ways to prevent complications. If these are taken care, U both shall lead a normal life. All the best to both of you.

Yes with current technology, good understanding of Disease and oneself, it is quite possible to lead a normal life. Should join T1DM Patient groups as well as follow your Endocrinologist.
