Dessiccated L4-L5 disc

My MRI report diagnoses desiccation of L4-L5 disc causing compression of nerve roots. It pains when I walk which leads to problem in doing routine activities. Is it a very serious problem and also kindly provide me non-surgical treatment for it. Also I want to know if it can be treated without surgery and what are the chances of going well w/o surg

a desicated disc need not necessarily be operated it all depends on the symptoms how much distance u can walk and other associated symtoms any weakness in the limbs any tingling and numbness
