My friend is very much depressed and consulted a doctor. He suggested to have serta 50 tablet.Now she is about to get married and she have a doubt to continue to have this tablet or not

Depression medicine has to be continued as per psychiatrist instructions. Follow up with your psychiatrist for evaluation. Stopping sertraline abruptly leads to withdrawal effects. Do not stop medication without consultation. Also chances of exacerbation of symptoms are there.
