Past always haunts us. But we as individuals have the ability to control our thoughts. Try engaging yourself in different activities - Go out, listen to music, indulge in a hobby etc. Moment you sit ideal, you start thinking about things. If you still cannot control your thoughts then consult a Clinical Psychologist.

Hi Don't give a bad memory enough time to change your mood or make you feel anxious; instead, the moment it comes into your mind, shift your thinking to a happier memory. Keep practicing positive thinking until you no longer automatically fall into the same old mental ruts. Try pairing your bad memory with a good one You need to process past memories. Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling All the best
