Hello, You may be correct that this is a presentation of depression, however other illnesses with similar presentation like late onset psychosis, delusional disorder, dementia etc will need to be evaluated. Hence please visit a psychiatrist near you for comprehensive assessment and treatment. The assessment will include a detailed history of symptoms, interview of the patient, some blood tests, psychological investigation as per need and possibly imaging like MRI.
