Hi.. From what you are describing it looks like you have periodontitis with gum recession. Eating tobacco is not the only cause for it. They can be caused because of calculus or plaque build up, also because of trauma from occlusion or when because of high frenal attachment. You need to visit the dentist to find out the cause in your case
