Dental capping

I had a dental capping in childhood as it was broken accidentally. It was good for arround 12 years. But since last 1 year it seems to be different kind of thing. Like anything scratching the teeth and capping nail is showing outside. What to do now as it's looking very odd.

Hello The teeth with history of trauma at times develops a cyst or internal resorption over the years when root canal has not been done. You need to visit the dentist and get x-ray of the tooth and confirm if any pathology is there and get the treatment accordingly i.e. root canal, +/- cyst enucleation and  new cap or removal of tooth if it's badly damaged. For further queries you can also call at our clinic. Regards Dr.Bhawana Singh
