Hai madam I feel you might be having a mobile tooth for which the dentist you visited might have suggested extraction of that mobile tooth and giving a bridge by taking support from the adjacent teeth which is a normal procedure And yes bridge too has good strength and you can eat and chew normally as you do with your natural teeth
