2026-10-04 17:12:01
Respected sir/madam, I, a 28 year old unmarried (virgin) lady, got my last period on 5th july and till the date my cycle was totally normal... I'm not active....I felt less blood flow in my last 3 cycle (May, June, July) and also I got no period since july....I'm under checking of a homeopathy doctor from 3rd September and I faced a little spotting from 20th september to 28th September....Last year (2025) I got more than 13 period and the blood flow was totally normal ( cycle was between 25 to 30 days )...I have no other symptoms like acne, facial hair, pain etc...

Thank you for sharing detailed history. The fact that you have already noted >13 periods last year and scanty flow in May-July is very helpful, please continue maintaining this menstrual diary. Your last proper period was 5th July, followed by amenorrhea with only spotting 20-28 Sept. Change from previous frequent bleeding to now scanty/delayed pattern suggests ovulation is not happening regularly (anovulation). This needs evaluation for: 1. Thyroid dysfunction / High Prolactin 2. PCOS / hormonal imbalance - BMI is ∼26.7 (60kg, 4'11") 3. Stress / weight related causes
Next Steps
Please consult your Gynecologist with this diary. Basic workup like TSH, Prolactin, LH, FSH, Pelvic USG may be considered by your doctor after examination. Please inform about all medicines you are taking since 3rd Sept. If you develop severe pain, heavy bleeding, fever or dizziness, please seek urgent care. This is for information only, not a diagnosis. Please consult in person.

Three months without a period, after a run of lighter cycles before that, usually points to a hormonal shift rather than anything structural. You haven't started again even after the spotting in September, which fits that pattern. Common causes at your age include thyroid imbalance, a raised prolactin level, stress, a change in weight, or early PCOS, though no acne or facial hair makes PCOS a bit less likely, not impossible.
Next Steps
A blood test covering thyroid, prolactin and your reproductive hormones, together with a pelvic ultrasound, usually finds the cause. Mention the September spotting and your homeopathy course too, since the timing may be relevant.
Health Tips
If your period doesn't return on its own soon, please see a gynaecologist for proper testing rather than waiting it out further.
