Deep sleep within a regular pattern is normal.  But if you are oversleep thew could be many reasons. Diabetes,  heart related problems, hypersomnia, obesity, depression etc.  Consult your doctor, if required you many consult a Pulmonologist to conduct a sleep study or polysomnogram (PSG), this is a test that electronically transmits and records specific physical activities while you sleep.
