Decrease in platelet count
Hello, my granny 68 yrs old is presently suffering from dengue...even after platelet transfusion her platelet count counts less than 10,000 ....plz provide expert advice for her treatment
Hi,
In Dengue platelet increases on its own. But in case if it's less than 10000 she should be transfused single donor platelet (SDP). It may help in increasing platelet count.
Rest it's symptomatic treatment.
