Dandruff treatment

I had consulted a doctor on practo and they prescribed me a coal tar shampoo, a salicylic acid solution and calcium for my treatment of scalp psoriasis. They also advised not to oil my hair. I first stopped oiling my hair for a week and that seems to have worked for me (probably for a short while, but my scalp is clear now). Please advise if I should go ahead with the prescribed treatment or it's fair to wait until the need arises.

Treatment depends on the severity...Don't worry...you are suffering from seborrheic dermatitis causing dandruff... Specific medicine available for good control... Treatment depends on the severity..Do direct online consultation for detailed prescription by sending photos.
