Is it okay doing 50 sit ups and 40 push ups daily? Or  single exercise daily is harmful for our muscles and bones?

All the exercises you do is good for you unless and until you feel your muscles are over strained..Keep changing your exercise patterns so that you keep your interest in doing exercises and do exercises regularly which is more important.
