Hello my friend, Yess, Dadimashtak churna is quite effective in IBS. It's effecacy even increases if used with these classic Ayurvedic Medicines, * कुटजपर्पटी - 1-2 tablets twice a day after meals. * तक्रारिष्ट नं. १ - 4 teaspoon twice/thrice a day. (One can also add just a pinchful of nutmeg powder.) For early recovery do fasting (लंघन) once in a week and take mild laxative at the end of the day before bed time. Popped/puffed rice is also very helpful. Take care of these things, - Eat freshly cooked food. - Avoid stale/junk food and carbonated beverages. - Drink enough water. - Practice meditation daily. (Stress, anxiety, overthinking can also be the causative factor.) Take care and get well soon....! Contact for more details.
