Diagnosed with pcos. Can't take birth control b/c of migraines. Never get my period, diagnosed at 29, now 36. Metformin made me suicidal. NH doc gave me progesterone to force my period every 3 to 4 months. Moved to PA, primary wont give the meds, sent me to an endro who said I need to see a gyno. Gyno gave me a preg test which is negative and now an ultrasound to 'see if i need the meds' haven't had period in 9 mo. Is this med dangerous? Run around makes me feel like I asked for hard narcotics.

Actually PCOS is very complicated disease and treatment too is complicated depending on age and the problem most concern the patient at the time so if you are having migraine and allergy to metformin making you most difficult patient to treat POCS
Next Steps
You need a multispeciality to look into your problem together and then treat you accordingly
Health Tips
Consult a good gynaecologist first tell your full history then proceed for treatment
