CT angiography

Respected sir I will be undergoing CT angiography procedure day after tomorrow. I have heard that because of radiation there will be chances of development of Cancer. I am very much anxious about it. In past i never undergone CT procedure. Please guide me wheather its right that CT radiation will develop cancer to me Thank you sir

The radiation that you get from an angiogram , is so small less than 10 mSv , which is way below any sort of danger levels. Also the effect , of radiation on body is so minimal from an angiogram , than the benefit that you get by doing a test like that . So absolutely nothing to worry about , also this is a one off procedure , and you won’t be doing it frequently .
