Crunchy sounds in knee

2021-11-29 14:02:12
I am 19 years old and i have been weightlifting from past 5 months.. Recently i started hearing popping and crunchy sounds everytime i perform a full deep weighted/non-weighted squat.. Though i am not getting any pain or swelling till now. Its been over a week since i am noticing these things. Please let me know that i should continue doing squats in this condition or should i stop it because it feels kinda uncomfortable hearing those sounds from my knees. Will it be alright over time or do i need some treatment?

These sounds are normal in many people and they can come and go. We don't know the exact reasons but it could be due to changes in the positions of muscles and ligaments attached which happens during workouts. Nothing to worry about.
Next Steps
ignore it. it may go on its own.
Health Tips
