Hi my son is 10 months old, he was having redness in eye ,doctor recommended Cafta and Optilube Can I give?

Hi there! Happy to help. These are perfectly safe medication, use them according to the dosing advised by your ophthalmologist/physician. Since the redness here is assumed to be allergic in origin, avoid all environmental triggers and keep the baby in clean sheets and away from open windows and indoor pets. The antihistamine drops might have to be continued for 2-3 weeks (in a tapered fashion) if the allergy is taking time to subside. During this period ensure biweekly follow ups with your ophthalmologist.
