Covid vaccine safety

Hello, My father suffers from mild asthma problem which gets aggravated during winter. He has asthma since very long ( 20-25 years) and he takes regular medicine for the same. He has developed high blood sugar in 2020 for which also medication is started. I wanted to know if it's safe for him to take covid19 vaccine as there were some reports availa ooble online which indicates asthma condition may get worsened due to covid19 vaccine. Please suggest. Sir u might have seen some reports such  as reaction has been occured those who have some sort of allergy to any drugs along with asthma some may have allergy related asthma such kind of people may develop some recation but not compulsory

you can get a simple pft(spirometry) done and revert to know how your asthma is progressing..its a cheap test but will guide for further treatment
