Coughing in infant

My 6 months old is coughing for duration of 1-2 min whenever he coughs.Doctor examined physically and said it's normal.But I'm more worried if it's a covid symptom.please guide me what should be done to confirm it's not covid.

Is there any contact with covid in family or neighbours? Isolate from elder people in house. Do covid PCR test to confirm. Contact nearby lab. Give steam inhalation from a safe distance. Give warm water to drink.

Hi, No need to worry, just simple cough is very unlikely covid.
Next Steps
Monitor baby temperature every 12 hrly and if temperature > 100° f consult Pediatrician.
