I have dry cough for the last 8 days. Doctor put me on zuracef and mac berry xt. What more should I do to cure it fast. Any suggestions on home remedies or medication additional to this?

1. Lukewarm salt water gargles. 2. Honey 1 tsp after a long bout of cough 3. Syp. Ambrolite-D --2tsp  x 3 times a day
