Cough and common cold again and again

My mother get cough and cold last year and since then it happens again and again afyer each 15-20 days. She is taking Doxycycline Hyclate, Levocetirizine + Montelukast, acebrophylline and prednisolone tablets since last year whenever symptoms comes and they went back but comes again after some days. Is these medications good or not or any side effects if taking since an year.

do not self medicate please..taking prednisolone which is a steroid and antibiotics for 1 year is not safe,it can lead to so many complications.. consult a Pulmonologist for detailed evaluation and management!
