Cosmetic on my red skin?

I'm suffering from excessive redness due to application of skinlite cream on my face. So I consulted a dermatologist who has given me a cream, cleanser and tablets for 10 days. I would like to know if i can put some bb cream( suitable for my acne prone skin) on my reddened face because I can't go out with bare face due to this allergy.
