I would like to know that is it necessary to be in quarantine after traveling? Can't one get the test done and if -ve then what's the need of quarantine?? My father flyed from Assam to Delhi. He is in home quarantine. This protocol is a bit illogical. Plz ans

Sometimes test may come negative in very early stage of infection. Usually infective period is 14 days hence the quarantine duration.
Next Steps
do not be illogical and follow the protocol. protocols are made after thorough study and are here to protect the entire population. don't put others at risk just because of your  half knowledge
