COPD inhalers causing trouble

Hello doctor, My fathef was diagnosed for COPD 3years back because of excessive smoking. At that time the doctors have asked him to continue inhalers (Tiova and Foracort) for COPD. But since then he is facing problem with difficulty in urination and excessive indigestion. 2 or 3 months before he started to see skin rashes over hands and wrist. Then i thought of looking for the inhalers and found that Tiova inhaler has side effects which has almost 70% of side effects which are matching with my fathers current major problems. Please suggest does he need to discontinue the inhalers. Many thanks in advance.

At age 61, you father may have a prostate hypertrophy leading to urination problems which are aggravated by Tiova inhaler. Better visit a Urologist to get an assessment of Prostate condition, b'coz, your father is definitely going to require Tiova like inhalers as they are the drug of choice in COPD.
