Contraceptive pills are a safe, effective way to delay pregnancy, and they don't affect your ability to have a baby later. Your periods and fertility usually return to normal within a few months of stopping, whichever option you eventually use.
Next Steps
The right method for you, combined pills, a progesterone-only option, or something else, depends on your health history, weight and any existing conditions. A gynaecologist can review that and start the one that suits you.
Health Tips
Please see a gynaecologist before starting anything, so your suitability and any side effects are checked properly.
